Hi, my name is Jill. I live in a small town in the midwest.  I am a Mom of 3 beautiful daughters. I have a wonderful husband who I have been married to for 25+ years. I enjoy cooking and especially trying new recipes. I am a grocery store junkie. When heading to the big city, I am known to hit 3 or 4 markets in one day. That is my version of a perfect day out.  I love to entertain. I am my happiest when the house is full of family and friends.

The purpose of this blog is to share recipes that I find as “keepers” along with anything else I think you might be interested in.  I have lots of cookbooks and recipes from the internet and magazines! I tend to just go to the internet when looking for a recipe instead of my cookbooks and clippings. I am challenging myself to pick recipes out of those cookbooks and boxes of recipes and share the results with you.

Life does not get any better than sharing food, drinks and conversations with family and friends!

I hope in this blog you find many recipes you can relish with family and friends.

  1. Looks good Jill I’m sure you will enjoy it and have lots of fun. I looked around and spotted Erica’s. You know the junk one… Well Karen made the most surprising “mock apple pie” wondered if you ever tried it. Have fun I’m thinking you will be delightfully surprised!

  2. Hi Jill, I love this idea!! I too have sooooo many cookbooks and I find myself going right to the internet. I look forward to your recipes and hopefully I’ll try a few along the way. Garlic is my worst enemy so I will wait patiently for just the right recipe. Thanks again Jill

    Always Tammy
